Hi team,

How much is the absolute maximum ratings of VBUS_CON output peak current when it short to GND?

Datasheet P10 Figure 6-9 describes its waveform and shows maximum 6.5A peak. 

I think it depends on the bulk cap on the VBUS_SYS =100uF in the application diagram. 

Does TPD3S716-Q1 withstand short to GND condition with >100uF on VBUS_SYS?

    Correct, it's related to the capacitor.

    But don't worry about that. It can withstand transient high current. Only to make sure the voltage doesn't surpass the ABS value.
