Hi Marc,
Although it is possible to cascade redrivers to get a higher boost, please keep in mind that doing so will not reset jitter in the signal chain. Because of this, it is possible that cascading redrivers will not provide adequate signal conditioning. You might consider adding a retimer in order to improve the jitter. If you have a model of your system, you could simulate the system using the IBIS models for redrivers/retimers in order to gain a better understanding of your signal conditioning needs.

TI does not have retimer products that are rated for SAS4.0. However, TI does have retimer products that support 24Gbps data rate, such has DS280DF810. For more details on retimer compatibility, please see this thread.
In regards to your question regarding channel loss, the DS280DF810 can equalize for "35+dB channel loss at 12.9Ghz" (from datasheet), which indicates a similar level of equalization can be expected at 12Ghz. This would compensate for the channel loss due to transmission line 1. The impact of transmission line 2 on signal integrity will be more dependent on the capabilities of the receiver. The retimer can provide some equalization through a 3-tap FIR filter applied to data transmitted from the device, but the receiver will likely still need to do some equalization in order to minimize bit errors.
