TPS65988: Schematic review required for a Sink Application

Here is the preliminary for a sink only application using external path can you please review it and provide your feedback.

Also few questions,

a) Can we use both external power paths simultaneously? (connecting 2 different USB source to our sink application?)

b) Is I2C1 sufficient to read all the control registers and modify them on fly using external EC?

Hello,

The answer to both of your questions is yes. You can sink from two ports at the same time and I2C1 can be used to read all of the registers within the TPS65988

As far as the schematic, find my comments below:

Increase the I2C1_IRQ resistance to 10k
Recommend putting your ESD and other protection circuit on the connector side of the external power path
