Hi Sir,

My customer would like design TPS25810. (is SN1507044RVCR eaqual to TPS25810?)

Would you please review schematic and layout and provide your comment?

Customer would like to change EC28 from 470uF Electrolytic capacitor to 560uF solid state capacitor.

The user guide suggested to use 10uF cap.

Would you please review and provide your comment?

Hello,

I do not see the schematic or layout.

In general though I would not put more than 10uF on the VBUS net directly connected to the Type-C connector. You can have your bulk capacitance on the 5V input pin of the TPS25810

Hello,

Yes so I would recommend switching where you have your capacitors placed. You large 470uF bulk capacitor should be placed on the IN pin and your 10uF capacitor should be placed on the OUT pin

Hi Adam,

I will ifnromaiton cutomer for the IN and OUT cap switching.

Is that ok for customer to change from 470uF to 560uF?
