    Hi Maynard,

    I can't recommend this configuration. This switch is controlled via I2C commands to the SDA/SCL port. It will not recognize commands send from the SD0/SC0 or SD1/SC1 ports unless these channels are enabled. Because all channels are disabled by default, there would not be a way for either host device to communicate with the switch after a power-on reset. A layout should be used that allows a host device to communicate with the SDA/SCL port of the switch in order to control and configure the device after startup.
