DP83TG720EVM-MC: Common mode choke for the 1000BASE-T1

Hi,

I think that wrong part for the DP83TG720G on the EVM board.

The common mode choke used is DLW32MH201XK2L, which is actually meant for 100BASE-T1:

For 1000BASE-T1, it is recommended to use DLW32MH101XT2L:

Based on sdd21, the loss at 600MHz is quite substantial:

Please help to advice if this is valid or any reason DLW32MH201XK2L is used.

Hello Teoh,

Thank you for the inputs.

Please refer to the recommended CMC in the data sheet. Murata :DLW32MH101XT2 and looks similar to what you are looking at.

Let mw check and make the required updates.
