DS125DF410: DS125DF410register setting

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who has a query about DS125DF410. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I using the DS125DF410SQ by setting it to below register.

1. Set 0xff register to 0x0c

2. Set bits 5:4 of register 0x36 to '2b11

3. Set 0x2f register to 0xf6

4. Set 0x15 register to 0x42

Only above settings I'm used and 1G/10G Ethernet is operating normally.

Is there any problem with this setting??

    I don't see an issue with these settings if you are strictly operating the retimer channel(s) at the 10G or 1G Ethernet rates.

    • Setting share register to enable broadcast write and channel registers access
    • REF_MODE=3
    • 0x2F=0xF6 is dual 10G/1G Ethernet CDR rate mode 
    • Set de-emphasis value
