DS90UB926Q-Q1: how can i convert the FPD-LINK to HDMI

Part Number: DS90UB926Q-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TFP410, DS90CF388

we have the requirement which need convert the  FPD-LINK to HDMI, do you have the solution for it? we find one box which use the DS90UB926Q convert the FPD-LINK to RGB, and then use the ADV7513 convert it to HDMI, but it is and old solution now. do you have the newer solution for it ( because we should reserve for higher speed application) ?  and ITE also suggest us first use the DS90UB948 convert it to LVDS and then use the IT6263 convert the LVDS to HDMI, but i found that DS90UB948 just have 4 lanes of LVDS output, but the IT6263 input is 5 lanes

      about IT6263 you can check it at the following website    ITE Tech. Inc.

  • Hi Guizhang,

    Let me review some this datasheet. I will get back with you by next week, 10/12.

  • Hi Guizhang,

    I reviewed your request. There is no direct solution, but I have a multiple device solution. Basically, yes you may convert the FPD-Link video interface to HMDI. So, you would need to use:

    www.ti.com/.../tfp410.pdf

    For example:

    927 serializer -> 926 deserializer -> RGB parallel output -> RGB parallel input -> TFP410 -> HMDI.

    Or

    You can also use 941AS serializer -> 948 deserializer -> LVDS output -> LVDS input -> DS90CF388 -> LVDS parallel output -> LVDS parallel input -> TFP410 -> HMDI.

    Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Aaron
