Hi team 

Need your confirm that customer current 941AS schematic design set the pin 13 float and pin 40 connected to GND:

while the latest 941AS spec said like below:

So we need your confirm that whether the customer current 941AS pin 13 and pin 40 schematic design is OK and could not cause any risk or issue, since they are at DV stage so it is important, thank you.

    Hello Zirui,

    Pin 40 should be floating, not connected to GND. That is what is in the latest datasheet and also what is in the EVM schematic for 941AS

    Hi Casey,

    Thanks and could you kindly tell us what are the potential risks for customer current pin configuration (Pin 40 connected to GND and Pin 13 floating) because they need know the reason and after that to evaluate the cost of modifying the hardware schematic if it is a must to change pin 40 to be floating, so we may need your detailed explanation, thank you.

    Hello Zirui,

    Whenever the device is used outside of the datasheet recommended operating conditions or pin configurations, then we can no longer comment on the expected device performance. In many cases the performance is unpredictable because the operation no longer matches how we validated the device. So this needs to be corrected by the customer and we will not be able to provide any additional technical details
