Dear Expert,
Presently, we have a design for EtherCAT Slave. The controller used is Infineon XMC4800, and the PHY is BCM5241XA1KMLG. However, this particular device is not available (became obsolete). Hence we need to change our design, and we are looking at KSZ8081MNX. But DP83826I seems to be new device and instead of KSZ8081, now we plan to to DP83826I.
After studying data sheet and application note, we did not get clear understanding in using DP83826 in enhanced mode with only strapping method. We are looking for guidance or any document to proceed further.
