DP83TD510E: Low power controller with MAC for use in Ethernet-APL low power (intrinsically safe) application

Hi,

I recently attended a workshop on Ethernet-APL in which TI showcased the DP83TD510E for 10BASE-T1L which is needed for Ethernet-APL. We are interested in a field device which uses the DP83TD510E and a Sitara processor (AM64x and AM243x) which has the "F" version for use of the TI/Kunbus protocol stacks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc) from within the SDK.

My initial investigation of AM64x and AM243x seems to show that the power requirements for these processors are quite high. Ethernet-APL for intrinsic safety is limited to 15V / 0.54W input power. Do you have a recommendation of which processor to use with the DP83TD510E and the TI included industrial protocol stacks and keep the power consumption less than 0.54W?

Sorry for the delay. I checked internally with different source about any recommendation for low power processors from PHY side. I could not find any shortlist.

If it is of any help what I could find was that we have also seen some customers using STM32* processors for similar applications.
