What FPD-Link devices are you asking about specifically? Can you share a block diagram describing what you are trying to do?

Hi Casey,

On my board I'm using the 960 device.

I need to design a tester and I want to use one camera with FPDlink connection and FPDlink mux insted of 4 cameras.

Hello Shmuel,

We have investigated this topology in the past and think it may be possible to implement with a device like HD3SS3411-Q1 but we have not done an in-depth study of the solution to verify it can work across the operating conditions of the 960. We actually are working on proving out this concept more thoroughly in the next few months by building some HW to demonstrate it but at this time all I can say is that it is feasible but not proven:

Hello Shmuel,

The HD3SS3411-Q1 is a differential high speed analog mux, so the idea is to place the mux in the FPD-Link path to switch the RIN+/- signals to different remote serializer inputs
