I understood that V3Link is not automotive qualified and therefore not cross-compatible for automotive applications. But as the chips are the same, where are the concrete limitations to link existing FPD-Link devices with new V3Link based devices? If this definitely wont work, it would impossible to introduce V3Link in an existing eco system, which is the normal market situation.
