DP83TD510E-EVM: Forcing 1Vpp or 2.4Vpp Signals on Old Eval Board with Pre-production DP83TD510E Chip

Part Number: DP83TD510E-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB-2-MDIO, DP83TD510E

I am developing an Ethernet-APL (10BASE-T1L) device.  To test it, I am using DP83TD510E-EVMs as a media converters from 10BASE-T1L to standard Ethernet.  The DP83TD510E-EVMs are pre-production and have pre-production DP83TD510E chips.  As a result, I have to run (through USB-2-MDIO software) a setup script I was given by TI to tell the DP83TD510E-EVM to use Auto-Negotiate, Force 1Vpp Slave, Force 1Vpp Master, Force 2.4Vpp Slave, or Force 2.4Vpp Master mode.  Up until now I have been using the Auto-Negotiate script and it works fine with my device.  Today I tried the other scripts (to confirm my device works using 1Vpp and 2.4Vpp signaling) and none of them worked with my device.  It seems like at least one of them should work.

Is it possible these scripts are incorrect?  Is it possible to get the latest version of the scripts?  Are there any other issues with the pre-production DP83TD510E-EVMs I need to be aware of?  Is it possible to get my DP83TD510E-EVMs upgraded to production versions now that the chip is released?

Thanks,

Cyrus
