Hi MJ,
The capacitors are correctly wired and are of correct value to adjust the charge pump circuitry.
ROUT2 does not need a 4.7kohm pullup resistor since driving architecture on that pin is push-pull configuration.
The 33ohm series resistance may be a good call in terms of fault protection such as a short-circuit fault or in protecting against an ESD strike, but since ROUT2 abs max is -0.3V to VCC + 0.3V you may consider taking out the series resistance. Also keep in mind that the series resistance on ROUT2 creates a low-pass filter with parasitic capacitance to ground, attenuating your data signal to the MCU. I don't know the length of cable between the MAX3232 to MCU, but this could mess with signal integrity.
Other than these suggestions, I think the over schematic looks good.
