DP83822H: Difference Software configuration between DP83822 and DP83848

Dear expert:

The client on my side has some trouble when debugging phy device DP83822. The software is initialized successfully, the computer shows that the network cable is connected, but unable to mount successfully.

The main platform they use is NXP’s I.MX RT1064. And they formerly used DP83848 and now replaced it by DP83822.The attached file is the schematic circuit customer designed of DP83822 referring to our reference design.

Could you please kindly give some advice on:

Is the hardware circuit configuration correct?
Is there any difference between DP83848 and DP83822 in the software configuration?

Couple of questions

The previous version of the board ad a DP83848 and that board is working. Which device did they use?

The updated version has a DP83822 and this does not work.

Can i assume that the required drivers have been changed to take care of the device change.

Do you have some update.

Can you ask customer to share the schematics for both version to compare, if possible the MAC interface.

Based on the schematics, looks like customer is configuring RMII, 50 MHz

Please request customer to do the below

RX_DV configuration for RMII 50 MHz mode

Please Remove R360 , mount R388 2K9

RX_ER for RMII 50 MHz mode

Please Remove R390

Please read the below registers and check the configuration

0x0017 RMII and Status Register (RCSR)

0x0467 Strap Latch-In Register #1 (SOR1)
