Hi,
We are using DS280DF810 for 8ch 200G data retimer. PRBS function is necessary for this project.
However, there isn't any data in PRBS checker error count register 0x83 or 0x84. What could cause this problem?
Could you please recommand the way to test PRBS function?

Channel registers 0x83 and 0x84 are indeed used to track the PRBS checker error count. There is a configuration write sequence that is required to enable PRBS checker. You may refer to the retimer programming guide contains all the common retimer configuration sequences. To gain access to this technical doc, simply place a request via the TI.com product page. However, it seems that the PRBS generater doesn't work, Reg 83 and 84 shows 0, and Reg 01 shows 0x80.

In hardware setup step, what dos 'the clock generator' mean? Does differential 100-ohm SMA cable necessary?
