Customer is studying TDP158RSB for HDMI 2.0

Coud you help to support the layout inquiries below

1) Max trace length into redriver, out of redriver

2) Recommended trace impedance

3) Recommended placement of redriver (nearer to connector or nearer to CPU?)

1) Max trace length into redriver, out of redriver

You can use section 9.2.3 Application Curves as a guideline, the input trace length is 20in. So I would drive it less than 20in.

For the output, the trace length is 1 to 2in to the connector.

2) Recommended trace impedance

100ohm +/-10%.

3) Recommended placement of redriver (nearer to connector or nearer to CPU?)

Thanks for the advise. Does the arrangement below work for HDMI 2.0b ?

The path with HD3SS3412 Mux.

The HD3SS3412 common mode voltage is from 0 to 2V, please double check and make sure the SOC common mode voltage meets this requirement.
