Fast link down:

What is the MAC/processor used for EtherCAT? When using Beckhoff ESC controller as MAC, fast link down inside the PHY is not required.

Also, this FLD is only required for EtherCAT slave. Master does not require FLD.

Do you have the intended application diagram.
