DS90UB954-Q1: how to disable back channel of UB954 and how to open CML output

Hi,

To turn off the backchannel you should be able to turn it off by disabling backchannel always on.  If there is no backchannel then the serializer would need to be in async mode.  In the datasheet there is an example of using the CML out in section 7.4.10.1.

 section 7.4.10.1 give a RX port0 example , if I want config RX port1 ,config register to choose port1 and then do the same config with 7.4.10.1, right?

Hi Joey,

Yes, if you want to use port one then change the register write to 0xB0 to select the port 1 registers instead of port 0 registers.
