TUSB2E22: signal testing

I have test case where I'm driving eUSB signal data as clock to check my TUSB2E22 circuit

the design is copy from TI reference

the signal is 400mv Pk-Pk differential input to edp0/edn0, I see the signal comes in but no signal coming out via DPA/DNA

I check power supplies, Cross connection, EQ setup and Reset. all set up correctly

is it legal to send such Data just to test my circuit?

Hi Tamir,

The TUSB2E22 needs to be configured into host or peripheral mode and then complete the HS handshake before HS differential signals are repeated.

but how do I configure it to host?

Hi Tamir,

A logic ‘1’ on eD+ from the eUSBr to enable its repeater for Host operation mode. The repeater shall acknowledge on eD- and configure itself as a host repeater.
