SN65LVCP1414: how to recognize loss of signal

Hi,

Regarding SN65LVCP1414 I don’t see a function that would alert of loss of signal.

Is there any advise on how to get alerted if the input signal is not detected?

The SN65LVCP1414 does not have an input signal detect function.

A quick followup, looking for 1-8ch >8gbps equalizer with input detect.

Do you have any suggestions that could be a good fit here?

Hi Alberto,

I am thinking by input detect you mean signal detect. In this case, device is not going to be linear. Please note with 8 channels we have to use SMBus register to check signal detect status. Please note DS80PCI800 that could meet this requirement.

Hi Nasser,

we found an issue with this part: it has no stock unfortunately, so they will be barred by procurement to release it to production.

He really like the TLK6201, but he needs at least 8Gbps, but really he preferes 12Gbps

The encoding is 64/66 , and the lowerst frequency is 100khz (due to the legacy cameras they have support_

Is there anything else that can do this (regardless of channel count).

If you have a few options please suggest them all!
