Hi Team,

Regarding the following IOCC spec, could you tell me which should we refer when Maximum Current=2.0A@Peak Current=100%?
I believe we should refer the following red part, however my customer found trip point is 2.03A in this case when Ta=25℃ so I would like to confirm.

Best Regards,
Yaita

  • Hello Yaita,

Could you please provide a few more details about the issue. Specifically the contents of the Power Path Status Register (0x26) after the over-current clamp circuit is tripped?

Is the device being used as a source or a sink when the trip happens?

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • Hi Chri-san,

Thank you for your kind support.
The application is used as a source but we found out there is a misconfiguration of the sink-side device.
We could confirm the trip point is about 2.3A when Maximum Current=2.0A@Peak Current=100% and Ta=25℃.

I'm sorry to have caused trouble.
    Please forget about the issue.

    Best Regards,
    Yaita
