DP83TC812S-Q1: PHY RMII Interface

Hello TI Team,

today I have a question regarding PHY RMII connectivity. As I can see on DS page 26 for RMII Option there is no REFCLK in or out. Does PHY produce REFCLK internally?, if yes can be this clock feed out to the MAC?

Hi Rafal,

You mean the 50MHz clock when the device is in RMII master mode? This clock will be outputted on RX_D3 and can be fed into the MAC. See Table 5-1 for more details.
