HD3SS3220: USE ID signal for Load switch enable / Detect USB host or Slave on VBUS_DET?

Hi,

My customer has questions.

*1.

For controlling Load switch on VBUS, Is it no issue to connect ID pin with EN pin through INVERT devices as follows?

He wants to control load switch without MCU. Please advise us.

*2.

My understanding is as follows: Is it correct? Please advise us.

By VBUS_DET pin, HD3SS3220 can detect the connection of USB HOST, and can not detect the connection of USB_SLAVE device, on USB TYPE-C Connector.

Hi,

1. This is okay.

2. This is correct, DFP is detected through VBUS_DET and CC pin in DRP mode.

I have additional question.

Do you have any recommendation of Pull-up resister value on ID (Open drain) pin?
