Can you please provide the link to the closed case?

What video resolution are you trying to support? And can you measure the TMDS171 output clock frequency? Does the output clock frequency match with the video resolution?

I don't have any access to the signals.

 low resolution (XGA)

It is not happen all the time.

If the picture is good it will stay good .

When the picture is out of sync  ( very noisy picture or white screen mostly) then I toggle the PD_EN by I2C  and the problem fixed.

Re-plugging the cable also fix the problem.

The problem appears at power up or by plugin the cable slowly with and angle .

My quotation if their is any register that can indicate if their is a problem so I can reset the part .
