HD3SS213: SEL logic and ac coupling cap question

Hello expert,

My customer has two questions on HD3SS213.

1. Does data path is follow DX_SEL? Since we only see DDC and AUX are changed in table7-1.

2. Could I put the AC coupling cap in source side ?

1. I am not sure if I understand the particular question, the HD3SS213 AUX/DDC bus is controlled by the AUX_SEL and DX_SEL.

2. You can move the AC coupling capacitor to the other side and leave the other side to be DC coupled.

Hello David,

Thanks for your reply! For the first question, we would like to double check if data path is follow Dx_SEL also. Since we can see HD3SS214 datasheet table 7-1 for DA/DB/DC data path. But we cannot see data path truth table in HD3SS213 table 7-1. Thanks!

The data path follows the DX_SEL, DX_SEL = L -> DA and DX_SEL = H -> DB.
