Hello,

I'm designing an isolated PROFIBUS interface, and I would like to use the transceiver SN65HVD1176 + other external optocouplers (for example, ISO7721 for TX and RX on logic side).

In the datasheet, I've found this application schematic, where a pull-up resistor on the "R" line is present. What is the purpose of this 10k resistor?
