Hi team

I would like to ask that could 928Q-Q1 completely replace 924Q1? Since I saw in 924Q1 datasheet:

and in 928Q-Q1 datasheet:

So I would like to ask that if our SER is DS90UB929/949/947Q1, could I use 928Q-Q1?

Another question is what are the differences between openLDI output and FPDLINK output? Are they exactly the same?

Hi Jerry,

Most of our devices are back compatible at least one generation. The differences between 924 and 928 is the PCLK max 96MHz and 85MHz respectively. Therefore, it shouldn't be a problem if you want to use the devices per your mentioned.

Hi Jerry,

No you do not need to do anything. It is a drop-in replacement. The 924 has a higher PCLK than 928.
