DS250DF230: Configure Cross-Point 2x2 question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS250DF230

Component number: DS250DF230

Hello TEAM.

When I configure the DS250DF230 chip according to the programming manual, the Configuration is as follows:

Channel A->A works, channel A->B does not. When I configure 0x96[2] to 1, channels A->A and A->B are both working, so, I have some questions:

1. I want to know the function of 0x96[2].

2. When configuring cross-channel, can only CONFIGURE A- >A,A- >B at the same time, but not A- >B at the same time?

Since I've tried many configuration methods and failed,

3. Can you elaborate on the meanings of 0x96[0]-0x96[3] and how I should use them

Best Regards,

  • Hi Zhangzhenq,

Please see the excerpt below from the DS250DF230 datasheet for a description of 0x96[3:0].

    Regmap

I want to know the function of 0x96[2].

0x96[2] enables the signal to be fanned out to another channel.

When configuring cross-channel, can only CONFIGURE A- >A,A- >B at the same time, but not A- >B at the same time?

Based on your question, it sounds like you are interested in only configuring A -> B.  If this is the case, you can follow the procedure for fanout, but set channel A 0x96[3] = 0. This disables local output on channel A.

    Thanks,

    Drew
