Hi Experts,

Good day.

Client is developing a HDMI->LVDS Converter. They are focusing on the TFP401AIPZPRQ1, but they need a "Splash-Screen" or "Bootscreen" or an "On Screen Display" to show a picture immediately after start.

Do we have an IC that is capable of this? Or how can they solve this?

This depends on the HDMI source, the TDP401 will not generate a bootscreen.

Thanks for respnding.

Seems that TFP401 does not have a flash picture. Client asked any other chip that has this option (like the Realtec RTD2556T)?

As per them, their HDMI-Source needs too much time to generate a Picture from start.

The RTD2556T is a Display Controller while the TFP401 is a Bridge chip. We do not have a solution that can support this.
