AM26C32: Treatment for unused pin

Part Number: AM26C32

Hi,

Could you please let me know how to treat unused input pin? Can it leave open? or short it to GND?

Regards,
Nagata.

  • Unused outputs can be left open.

The A and B inputs have internal pull-up/-down resistors and can be left open. The G and /G inputs always must have a valid voltage; connect them to VCC or GND as needed.

  • Hi Nagata,

I agree with what Clemens stated.

Here is a figure from the datasheet that shows the internal pull-up/down resistors of the A and B inputs:

With G and /G, connect them to VCC or GND as needed, do not leave them floating.

    Regards,

    Tyler
