Looking at the DS90UB948 DS, section 7.3, despite the high baud rate, the actual frequency bandwidth is not as wide as the 3.36GHz listed.
With that in mind, would we recommend a 3GHz connector or a 6GHz to be on the safe side?
The customer I am working with is currently working on signing an NDA with us, so I cannot yet share the Channel Requirement document on CDDS titled 'Prelim-Channel-Requirements -DS90UH94xA_Rev0p4.xlsx' with them. That said, I am reading it as connector impedance rather than a connector speed rating.
