Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FLAT-CLAMP-TVS-EVM
One of my customers was recently looking for TVS diodes to protect their system from surge events, and they came across TI's TVS flat-clamp devices, particularly the TVS2700. They really like the extremely low clamping voltage and leakage current compared to their current diode selection, SMBJ26A.

While the specs on this device are superior, unfortunately, the customer only has boards with the SMA/SMB package footprint to evaluate TVS diodes, which the TVS2700 does not come in. Is there a way to somehow fit this TVS flat-clamp device into an SMA/SMB package footprint?
