Hello,
A customer is planned to place a varistor (variable resistor) on CC1 and CC2 and he requests our opinion.
Could you have any opinion or suggestion if he plaices a varistor on CC1 and CC2.
Best regards,
Toshiro:
There is no resistor needed on CC pin, why customer want to place resistor on it?

brian
Hi Brian,
No. I think this customer will uses varistor, which is usually used for preventing ESD or surge event. Varistor is usually placed on a I/O to GND.

Thank you.
Are there any restriction or limitation if he take that way.
Best regards,
Imi
CC signal is very slow speed, so there is not much concern about it.

Brian
