TUSB1210: May damage TUSB1210 when 5V is observed on CPEN pin

Hi,

Could you please let us know the absolute Maximum ratings voltage range of CPEN pin?

When 3.3V/1.8V is only supplied and all input pin is open on TUSB1210BRHB, my customer observes 5V power on line between CPEN pin and EN pin of high-side switch for a few seconds on his board. May stress of TUSB1210 cause permanent damage? Please advise us.

CPen should be 3.3v IO, absolute Maximum ratings voltage is 5v. Few seconds may cause damage, is it caused by vbus switch?

Brian-san,

I want to confirm one topic.

He supplied 2.5V on CPEN pin for his production test only. There is no power to other pins. Is it "No damage"?

2.5v will not damage the device, But CPEN is output pin, where is 2/5v come from?

Thank you for your support.

For production test of load switch whose EN pin is connected with CPEN pin, he supplies 2.5V from external power supply.
