My customer has the following question:

The TI documents are in conflict regarding the TUSB211. The issue revolves around the EQ pin settings. The TUSB211 says AC Level 3 is MIN, while TUSB212 says AC Level 3 is MAX; and the TUSB211 to TUSB212 transition document says there is no difference on the pin. Which is correct?

    Hi Christian,

    TUSB212 EQ pin is not equivalent to TUSB211 EQ pin however no schematic change is necessary, this is what SLLA376 refers to). PD resistor should still be used in the schematic. 

    TUSB212 Level 3 EQ is max compensation not min.
