My customer reports a strange problem. Their product is a 5G terminal which connects to 5G wireless network through dial up, and on the other side it communicates with PC through 100Base-T such that PC or other equipment can access internet through this terminal, the phy is our DP83822. All things are fine, the terminal can correctly communicate with PC directly all through switch, until the terminal dial up 5G network. Once their terminal dial up 5G network, it seems our DP83822 cannot establish link with some of PC (not all PC has such problem). Observing the phenomena in this condition, it seems the phy device is always in negotiation process, it always jumps between 10M and 100M mode. However there is no problem when PC access terminal through switch.
Do you have any idea about this issue?
