Hi team,

My customer want to use our IO-EXPANDER-EVM, does my customer need to MSP430 LaunchPad to control?
If yes, could my customer use MSP430G2553 LaunchPad Development Kit?

Jason,

The MSP430 LaunchPad is not necessarily required for using the IO-Expander-EVM, but it makes the evaluation much easier. This is because there are headers to connect the launchpad to the EVM, and code available to evaluate the devices available on the EVM. However, if the LaunchPad is not used, the headers can still be used with other wires to connect the pins to other controllers or processors.
