Hi TI Support Team

I have a query about the FPDLINK can translate HDMI serializer to MIPI CSI-2 deserializer.

Because FPDLINK SERDES only convert HDMI to FPDLINK, that means FPDLINK use HDMI format from serializer side.

When DS90UB940, receive FPDLINK signal how to convert the HDMI format to CSI format ?

One more query: I want to know if TI have FPDLINK chip support HDMI or DP output, that means it can directly to used for monitor

Hi Yutai,

The DS90UB949 serializes an HDMI input and transmits this data over FPD-Link to a deserializer. The DS90UB940N-Q1 receives this data and deserializes it into MIPI CSI-2 format. Here is a diagram showing how this would look:

The 940N has supports several data types on the CSI-2 Tx. See below:

We do not currently have any publicly available devices that support DP (or HDMI) output.
