Dear TI team

Could you explain below some questions of BLW compensation ?

(1) What is the BLW compensation ?

(2) What happen if there is no BLW compensation ? 

(3) If the PHY has BLW compensation , should I use transformer has little OCL ? like below 350uH ?

    Hello,

    BLW compensation is the PHY's design scheme which improves the effective "Signal to noise ratio" of PHY. Regarding use of magnetic, commonly used magnetics have around 350uH inductance and we recommend to use similar magnetics.
