Does TFP401A-Q1 support 1080p resolution?
Does it include the s HSYNC regeneration circuitry?

Hi,
TDP401-Q1 supports Pixel Rates Up to 165 MHz (Including 1080p and WUXGA at 60 Hz). It does incorporate additional circuitry to create a stable HSYNC from DVI transmitters that introduce undesirable jitter on the transmitted HSYNC signal.
Thanks
David
I have a design with TFP401-Q1, for some DVI transmitter the the HSYNC is stable but the DE is not stable and the display lose sync but when I connect the same DVI transmitter to DVI screen , it does not have any problem and the display does not lose sync.
Hi,
Can you please attach a scope waveform of the HSYNC and DE? When transitioning out of blanking(When DE transitions from Low to High), the current state of the HSYNC and VSYNC signals are locked (Regardless of polarity) until DE transitions again into blanking (DE High to Low). The TFP401 will only output changes in HSYNC and VSYNC during blanking.
Can you also attach the schematic for me to review? Do you see this issue on multiple TFP401A?
Thanks
David
