TPS65994AD: TPS65994: Can't enter alt mode due to sink power limit

Hi Sir,

My customer use TPS65994AD in their NB application. They want to choose sink PDO with more than 80W condition. We can stop power communication if source can't provide > 80W PDO now. But system will stop to communication ALT mode so there's no video out from customer's device. Would you please helping to check our PJT file and see any improvement on it? Thanks for your kindly help.

I'm getting error while openign the pjt file using GUI 6.4.x. What is the GUI version you are using?

Hi Prajith,

It's built by gui 6.4.15. Or I should modify my fw to 6.4.19 and test it?

The setting in the pjt file is to disable Sink path when Source power is <80W, is this intentional?

Does disabling "Auto Disable Sink Upon Capability mismatch" help?

Hi Gary,

With the Sink path disabled, I think PP5V is not available to PD controller. Please check.
