Hi,

Since i am new to this entire concept of serdes,

Please do let know, the MODE and IDX setting to be made for both Serialiser and deserialiser.

Serialiser : DS90UB953

Desrialiser : DS90UB954

Will setting the Deserialiser in Synchronous Back channel mode be enough for it to work?

    Hello Arun,

    Yes, if you set the 954 in CSI-2 Synchronous Back Channel mode and the 953 to CSI-2 Synchronous mode they will work.

    Using this mode, you will not need any external CLOK source on the 953 side, since the clock will be coming over the back channel from the DES to SER.

    For IDx, you can chose any address you like from the tables.
