Hi team,

I would like to force my TUSB8020B-Q1 to communicate in USB2.0 mode with any USB peripherals even if that support USB3.0.

Could you advise how to configure the device to force it such an operating mode?

Hi,

You can simply leave the USB 3 lines (SSTX and SSRX) disconnected on the upstream and downstream ports.

Hi,

The only way to force the TUSB8020B to USB 2.0 only mode is by disconnecting the USB 3.0 connection on the upstream port of the hub. There is no internal setting to do this.
