Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN1043
Hi Sir,
May I know if we connect TCAN1042 and TCAN1043 CAN bus together, but 1042 is 5V, 1043 is 8V, is there any issue?
Thank you.

Hi User,
To confirm, you are using 8V for the Vsup supply of TCAN1043 correct? Both CAN transceivers will also need a 5V supply for the Vcc input. This Vcc supply is what is used to drive the CAN bus. It is ok if the Vcc supplies are slightly different or have a mild ground offset. The Vsup supply for TCAN1043 is primarily used to power the low-power receiver while the device is in sleep mode. The CAN driver is not supplied by Vsup.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
