DS16F95QML-SP: Brownout Recovery

Part Number: DS16F95QML-SP

The recommended supply voltage operating condition is 4.5V - 5.5V; if the supply voltage experiences a brownout and goes outside of that range, will this device recover without issue? Or does it need to be powered all the way down and back up?

If it does recover from brownout, is there a minimum supply voltage it can tolerate before it needs to be powered all the way down?

  • During brownout, depending on the voltage level, two scenarios could happen. If the voltage is too low, the device is shut down. If the voltage is not that low, the device is just underpowered. In either case, as far as the supply is back to normal, the device will be back to operate normally. There is no need to power cycle the device. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
