Good day.

Our customer would like to know which version of CiA 601-4 is TCAN1463-Q1 is compliant to. It seems that this info is not on the datasheet. Can you pleas help us?

    Hi Cedrick,

    This device meets the requirements for the CiA 610-4 version 2.0.0 Signal Improvement Capable (SiC) CAN standard. This version focuses on CAN driver symmetry and ringing suppression and is the most up-to-date SiC standard as of this posting.

    Additional question, they also want to know if the TCAN1043HG-Q1 is compliant with CiA 601-4 or not?

    Hi Cedrick,

    No. TCAN1043 is a CAN FD transceiver that meets the ISO 11898-2 specification. It does not support CAN SiC. The TCAN1463 can be considered the SiC equivalent of TCAN1043. TCAN1463 is drop in replicable and shares the same functionality while featuring a CAN SiC driver.
