TCA9517: Sanity check on i2c lines with OE low

I don't see it clearly written "sda and scl are high impedance when OE is low". Could you confirm that is the case?

I have a bus that I am doing to use mixed datarates on. I'm going to place these in front of FM devices, and run the rest of the bus at FM+ when these are off.

  • As shown in the functional block diagram and in table 1 in section 9.14, EN = low disables the output drivers. So what remains are the high-impedance inputs.

    If you do not need buffering or level shifting, a simple switch like the SN74LVC2G66 would suffice.
