DS89C21: About unused terminals

I have a question about DS89C21.

If the input terminal (RI / RI *) on the receiver side is not used, can I connect it to GND?

Hi Ishiwata-san,

Yes, the unused receiver inputs can be tied to GND. The unused receiver output RO may be left open.
